I remember when it used to be shown on RTÉ those many years ago. Was fantastic.

He's better then Hasslehoff anyday tbh.

aparently i've spoken, and argued with darth bobo many times on irc but didn't actually know. how strange is that?

on the subject of McGyver, the show sounds stupid and ridiculous...can anyone else confirm or deny that?

I've the MacGuyver theme tune as a ring-tone on my phone.

I also have the Coronation St. and Emerdale tunes, just to cheese it up.

Legendary show. SG-1 would be lost without him.

SG1 has so many in-jokes about MacGyver!

Never the biggest fan, but liked the few shows I saw.......

The physicist in action, always finds a solution to every problem!

If you have never seen the show .. you have no opinion. Also, even if you did it would be null and void.

at least it's my opinion rather than my existence.

this is my favourite quote from macgyver, and its from the pilot:

Barbara: "Don't tell me you know how to make a bomb out of a stick of chewing gum."
    MacGyver: "Why, you got some...?"

Richard Dean Anderson is a legend, pity he's only in 2 episodes of SG-1 next season... oh well, at least we get Ben Browder and Beau Bridges instead :D

You could have just looked at the name of the file if you didnt know. Now you just look stupid :p .

I heard that in one episode he took the back off a calculator, jammed a fork or a clothes hanger into the back, fiddled with the circuits and used it to crash an plane that had just taken off. Id say just in the nick of time as well. Another second and it would surely have been out of the range of the improvised remote control.

I remember the last ever episode of McGyver. The bad guy had some girl hanging over a pool of fire trapped in an iron cage, and McG was being crushed by some trick lift or something.

Actually, I was..I've never seen an episode of Star Trek (william shatner was in star trek...right?) but I make up for it by being an obsessive X-Files fan.
