Nahhh you're thinking of MCP - Microsoft Certified Professional which is an element of MCSE or MCSD.

I'm talking about MVP which is something quite different

It's not exam-based. It's basically recognition from Microsoft that you've helped people in a particular Microsoft technology for a long time and are an expert in that technology
