Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

DVD Player in Germany

    Just wondering would i be able to bring over an Irish / Uk dvd player to Germany? WOuld it work with one of their TVs? / Would it work with there power supply and voltage?

    Just curious !

    Just need a plug adapter , buy them in any shop in Germany , will work on tv no problems.

    Yeah, They have two pin plugs, we have 3. Voltage shouldn't effect the DVD player. ours is 220, I assume their's is similar.

    as far as i can recall the u.s. are they only ones who use a lower voltage.

    Have no idea about the far east thou

    Ah there are a few other places (like Canada, most of them in the Americas). And Japan. And a few countries that currently like to run both.

    No worries with the German voltage, as the lads say just get a plug converter. Or if you're staying there forever, just cut the cord and attach a German plug.
