Well this one is.. I know all about the Bush family, neoconservatism, the political situation of Taiwan, trotskyism, advanced chess, ryanair, the japanese language (wikibooks), nudity in society, De valera and The External Relations Act, naval time keeping. All of which have magically somehow captured my interest. Wiki is deadly (I just discovered it like a week ago)

What faculty is your course, i can't seem to find it under Arts and would have thought it was health sciences, is it a mix, or is TCD literialy thats slow to update the site.


One thing though, and this is a general to everyone using the biki page, the page looks great and it would be good if we kept to some kinda consistant format.

Just generally to keep to whats there and use common sense. If you want to change the format then by all means change it, but do it on the entire page. Just because I layed out a certain format doesn't mena it's the best.

Who wrote the entry about me, drink and the Trinity cat? As any serious historian will tell you, that cat spurned my advances, and in any case I think the story might refer to another contemporary of mine in the SU, and a story which was so deftly spun that the poor girl believed it, sleep walking and all, even though it was all made up.

Hrmph - and things were going so well up to then.

I reckon we need a more concise who's who with links to the faculty we are from.....

I brought up the idea of editing other peoples wiki Articles in a thread in the Cuckoo's Nest and got berated my some users. It ended up getting dumbed in The Thunderdome due the suggestion. Read it >>HERE <<

One thing to note when editing other people's biki's, Hobbes doesn't like it, especially if it's objectionable.

Keeping the main trinity page factual is important imo.....

Well tough sh1t hobbes, it's the nature of wiki. But I would agree to a member's only editing of above.

No problem, with the main page, that is the nature of wiki, but FFS crash has had to edit his entry 4-5 times to remove the date thing. Funny the first time, now it's annoying and he obviously doesn't want it there.

Few suggestions:

1 - Would everyone please link their username to the faculty or course they are doing on the main page of the Biki.

2 - Please fill out more information on the courses in each faculty

3 - Some more information on Trinity would be good with information on the buildings on campus that are used.

4 - Include information on which are the highly rated societes/clubs of note in TCD

5 - Inclusion on information on the Buttery and Pav.

6 - Good places to go and eat that are close to Trinity

7 - more anecdotes of our experience in Trinity

8 - more messing with each others Biki's!
