Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi everyone, my PC display something like this:
".. primary slave conductor no cable installed
new cpu installed, press del to enter set up to readjust speed..."
I've posted this up like a year ago, and someone told me to change the battery, I have still not yet done it, but the machine is running fine. I'm just wondering what the ms means!

it probably means that you have no device, such as a hard drive or a CDROM attached to the primary slave connector.

    just a guess!

Is this like what you're seeing?

It's a warning, not an error probably, telling you that there's no IDE-80 Conductor cable installed in the primary IDE.

Go into your BIOS settings, and you'll find a field marked "Halt On", which is probably set to "All Errors". Useful for most people, but you may find it handy to tell it only to halt on memory or Keyboard errors.

If you post the exact error message, word-for-word, we can help you.
