Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ripwave & Airport & Configuration

    Hiya,

I just got my Ripwave Modem and an AirPort Express Base Station.
Ripwave works if connected directly to Powerbook and Airport seems to work too. But I don't have a connection to Internet if Ripwave connected to Airport.

How do I need to configure my internetconnection?
Don't know a lot about it. Do I need and if yes how can I find things like DNS-Server or DHCP-Client-ID?

    Hope anyone can help
    Thanx a mill

    Marc

ripwave uses a dynamic ip address.

check the settings in your "AirPort Express Base Station" and see if you can find on option to select "dynamic ip" for the ripwave modem.

    Thanx for your fast answer.

I tried to do this, it always asks for things like DNS-Server or DHCP-Client-ID.
I must have made the mistake earlier in the installation
