Ngage Firmware update?

    Hi,Iv got a ngage and i using a 256meg mmc.But the problem is 6/10 times i use the mp3 player i get a "mp3 player error"If i get a firmware update will this solve the problem as i heard this did the job with the 6230.Iv never had a firmware upgrade and i'v the fone about a year so there probaly is a upgrade available?
    Does anybody else had this problem with the ngage's music player?

    I've come across this problem twice on Ngages and both times the firmware upgrade sorted it. Don't know what the actual problem is, but the upgrade is definitely a solution

    Thanks wolfman hopefully that will do the job.

    Is there anything else that it fixes?Small bugs?

    Depends on your current version
    *#0000# will give you the version.
    Sometimes, its not so much upgrading as a clean flash
    Kinda like doing a clean install of Windows on a PC if something has been corrupted
