Jpop - Zone, thanks to you.
Jrock - Asian Kung-Fu Generation are great as are The Pillows. Also like Polysics, Supercar, L'Arc~en~Ciel.

Then I like Orange Range and Dragon Ash too, but they're kind of a cross between jrock and rap.

Jpop is kind of weird, it seems to all be young teenage girls that have consumed way too much sugar. The videos can be a bit odd. Also what's the deal with all the English words just thrown in?

I like Polysics, a lot. Saw them in Cork last September.

Plus-Tech Squeeze Box and Cornelius are good too. Fantasma's a great album.

I've listened to a bit of Yumi Yumi and Puffy Amiyumi too, they're ok, not great though.

hehe, yeah, erm yeah , apparently they think english is like 'cool' and stuff, heh. It can sound kinda funny ok, theres so much great suff there from metal to pop to techno, it's a goldmine of material, I just dig the whole happy vibe. I'm kinda through with 'good' music , makes me depressed, actually I find most of the music I like is agro or depressing, jpop is such a break, happy out :)

They have their own cartoon series on Cartoon Network now...

I watched an episode last night and eh.. it wasn't great...

I think Pizzicato Five are my favourite Japanese band.

Have to say, I can't resist the odd bit of jpop.

Aya Mastuura is entirely insane, and Utada Hikaru can be quite listenable.

    Yes. I feel superior.
