I like them old fashioned. The type of pubs my father grew up drinking in.

At least there is a good few of them left, I like a mix between the old fashioned and the more modern food/booze pub to be honest, nice to have a choice. My list is mainly older style ones though.

Pubs I like a pint when I am in town:

    Sheehans
    Grogans
    Brogans

Later on I will probably go to Doyles

They are all in the same area. I really should branch out and try others.

A couple places I only been to a few times that I loved were The Sackville Lounge and The White Swan on Angier Street, anyone been?

    1. The Welcome (Parnell St)

    3. The Lord Edward (Christ Church) EDIT

    4. Brogans (Dame St)

    5. The Stag's Head (Dame Lane)

These pubs have some of the best Guinness in Dublin. Yum!

Id throw in The Long Stone as one of my favorites not because of the guinness but because of the cheap pitchers and the smoking area. Pool table, tv's, heating and music. all outside. i believe they're putting a bar outdoors as well.

Was just about to post this, it's one of my locals and its definitely up there as a great local.

    For me:

    1. Harry Byrne's
    2. The Black Sheep
    3. L. Mulligan Grocers (The food is fantastic)
    4. Capitol (It's good value and its not a bad spot)
    5. The Living Room (Simply because it's great for sports, and it's beside my college)

This was more difficult than I thought, different pubs have different things going for them.
