Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Haven't heard of burn underrun but if this message is coming from Nero, it's probably got it's own way for preventing buffer underrun. This is a condition which can occur if there is insufficient data in the drive's write buffer because either the application isn't feeding the data quick enough (because of a slow PC) or there is some other lower-level factor (driver/hardware problem). Most burners have burn-proof technology built into the firmware of the drive but maybe Nero has this feature implemented too. If it's only started happening them maybe your drive's driver (or it's parameters) are a bit dodgy or there's a conflict with some other hardware.

Maybe Nero's online help/support might give you more correct information. I'm just guessing here.

defrag your drives. try burning at a slower speed. get better media.
