Exit Festival, Serbia

mentioned this briefly a while ago, big mainly dance orientated festival in serbia. it's on the same time as oxygen and works out only a little more expensive, including flights. you'd make back your money when you get there anyway as a can of beer costs 20cent, 20 smokes are a euro and a pint is 70cent! it's four days long and tickets are only 48 euro for the festival itself, the campsite is on the danube in a big forest and looks suuupoirb. me and my mates are planning to pop down while interrailing. just thought i'd let people know, seems like a more interesting and adventurous choice than the overpriced nonsense that is oxygen, plus the weather will be better! here's the line up so far: (bear in mind only the dance stage has really been announced so far)

Yep - sounds cool. I am also not going to overpriced Oxegen, I'm going to the Hurricane NordDeutchland (sp?) festival, to see Rammstein and other great metal bands. Overall it works out €70 more expensive than a ticket to Oxegen, and since the bus to oxegen costs €20 and a burger at Oxegen costs about ~€50 I'll probably come out even, except for the better lineup, better weather, and the fact that Hurricane lasts 3 days instead of 2.

it's great to hear people are getting away from oxygen! it's about time they were taught a lesson about over pricing, although the campsite was a good laugh. plus i think the whole buzz of going away to another country adds to the fun. anyone going to any other foreign festivals?

I probably will go to oxegen this year (not bought a ticket as of yet though) but I'm very strongly thinking of going to Rock Werchter. The line-up looks sexual.
