    why are songs that have been released as singles the only ones played on the radio? why not any ol' song from an albumn? just somethin thats always bugged me

    Because it's all marketing and business men making dodgy deals in car parks. Or the radio stations you listen to.

    Usually it's because the record companies don't send full copies of the albums out to the stations.

    Also as mentioned above, most stations' playlist is determined by the record companies

    There used to be a show on 2FM at night called The Album Show, that played just album tracks and no singles. I think Jay Ahern was the DJ.
