It's a shame that people don't take cats issues seriously...Cyber ghost  There are no pound for cats, it's bad enough for the dogs.
Cat rescues are hitting critical mass and mopping up after the ignorant.Unfortunately they will re-home their kittens to good home checked homes quickly, but the poor mothers will be left in rescue some for months and even years. At Kitten adoption no cat is caged or penned (Barring health related needs) They are socialized and assessed in a home environment, suitable to their individual needs, every cat that come through is their door is assessed to ensure that both cat and adoptee is looked after. No health recoverable cat is ever euthanased.
If you could a little of your time to help, contact www.kittenadoption.ie. :)
There are many ways to help, education of neutering and spaying being one.
