    Red Sea Pedestrians - www.redseapedestrian.com

The band officially formed in early 2003 with a gig lined up in Connolly's of Leap, in a relative short period of time they entered the BPM studios in Cork to record their first EP, which they launched in Whelans, Dublin before touring all of the major venues throughout the country

'The Brighter Side' EP mastered by Robyin Robins from the Bob Sieger and The Silver Bullet Band contained six songs which showcased the different styles the band were developing at that time, an eclectic mix of progressive acoustic tunes, rock roots and uplifting funky melodies. Live, the Red Sea Pedestrians have to date converted many discerning ears and if comparisons must be made then band would find good company with the likes of The Dave Matthews Band, Ben Harper, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers and U2.

Not a band to rest on their laurels, last summer the Red Sea Pedestrians again entered the studio with 'The Frank and Walters' Ashley Keating producing, their goal this time was to record their debut album, with the record almost completed, the band are delighted with the results and will be releasing in 2005.

The Red Sea Pedestrians, consists of Jude Hegarty on guitar and lead vocals, Stephen Dunlea on guitar and backing vocals, Karl Downes on drums and Mike Geaney on bass. As for their name, they lifted it from Monty Python's Life Of Brian. "The good thing about the name is when you are in the Record Shop, it should be right behind the Chilli Peppers"

"Red hot, Red Sea Pedestrians"- Don O Mahony, Downtown, Evening Echo 25/11/2004

" The Red Sea Pedestrians, led by the irrepressible Jude Hegarty, are ready to cross over into
mainstream consciousness and fame and fortune"- An Grianán Theatre promo, Spring 2004

Any number of factors can dramatically alter a bands sound, ranging from varying musical influences to the addition of new members. This is certainly true of NASSAU. Formed in Cork by Pop, George and Jim in 2000, NASSAU proceeded to spend as much time at finding a name (Fiction, Exit, The Angelus) as they did on writing material. Upon arrival of drummer Pat D their sound started to take shape and resulted in the recording of “Les Enfant” (EP 2001). Ian Burke joined the band shortly after on guitar and in December 2002 they recorded their 2nd EP “The Hand of Hope” Since then NASSAU have played some high profile gigs such as, O2 New Band Competition 2003 Cork heat (which they won) and “The Hard Working Class Heroes” Festival 2004 in Dublin. The band is currently recording with Graham Finn (ex – Bass Odyssey, Emperors of Ice Cream) and at this point has an album worth of material recorded. NASSAU’s sound is guitar driven with a constant sense of melody and a strong emphasis on lyrics. Their songs range from the darkest corners of heartbreak, to the harsh early morning hangover, to the wide open plains of summer love. This wide spectrum guarantees to keep you listening and will occasionally make you want to dance. Ladies and Gentlemen: This is NASSAU calling!

    Andalusia - www.andalusiahq.com

Andalusia have gone from strength to strength since they began life in January 2004. Within the last 12 months they have combined constant rehearsals with constant gigs, the results being a rapid developement in both their songwriting and their live shows. They have played in many of Dublin's most popular live venues, including The Temple Bar Music Centre, Eamonn Doran's, The Village and The Sugar Club gaining an enviable live reputation. Last sumer saw them play a series of headline gigs in Dublin. This included playing to a 300-strong crowd at the TBMC on June 26th. These gigs generated considerable attention from both Dublin music fans and industry reps. Andalusia recently recorded a 3-track demo in Apollo studios in Temple Bar. The songs showcase the bands escapades to date, with particular attention to the distinct vocal of frontman/rhythm guitarist, Darren Hardiman, and the ear-tinglinly catchy Southern U.S. meets Liverpudlian guitar sound of lead guitarist Michael Bradley. The band has continued with their hard work ethic throughout 2004 and are currently rehearsing a wealth of new material, some of which will be recorded early this year.
