    I need some advice. I have had a little incident with a bike and my moms punto. Basically, i need a new front left headlamp for a mk2 punto. The garage (victor motors-quoted me 300 euro for it!!) So i thought id buy one from ebay or the likes thereof and install it myself.

    Besides ebay anyone know where you can get it for below the 100 euro mark.Or if you have any spare please feel free to let me know. Cheers.

    Is the E300 just for the headlight or for a new punto? :D

    there should be loads of puntos in the scrap yards. Look in the golden pages for one near you.
    When you replace it make sure you get it aligned.

    Oh while you are at it, check all the other wiring on the punto as I take it for granted that [like most puntos] when the brakes are pressed incorrect lights come on!

    This is the only ever problem weve had with any punto electrics. Touch wood. Tried that car lamp place,its 200 for the headlight.
    It was 224 for the headlight and 80 odd for 'labour' What labour do you know of in putting in a headlight that can possibly cost 80 odd euro!!
    Ebay has one for 59.99 sterling. Getting closer!

    You could try team Pr riellys in kilbarack they are in the phonebook usually very good prices for replacements.
