Anyone know of a decent underbody car wash place (automated, not pressure washer) on the south side of dubs?

Don't want to be failing over a bit of grime!

    thanks for any advice...

dont bother everyone i know didnt and they passed, those that failed were for emissions or lights they dont spend much time looking under it anyway once they can see the cv joints etc ur grand

The underside of the car shouldn't be that dirty and if oil or anything is leaking then it will be fairly obvious regardless of whether the car is clean. Worn rubber seals will also be evident as these don't get too dirty that they can't be tested!
Also spraying cold water under a car which presumably will be fairly hot doesn't do much for the exhaust pipes and the cat!

If the car is reasonably clean underneath you're probably OK as you are. The NCTS don't mind a bit of grime on the car but what they don't want to see is big clumps of muck/cow sh*te all over the suspension and underside. This scenario is less likely in "south side of dubs" than in many parts of the country :)

    Suggestion:

Could all the NCT threads be bunched together and used as a Sticky - I am sure people are asking the same questions over and over - which does become a bit tiresome :)

I don't think Mike is in favour of more stickies!
