I got eircom broadband the other day and my mate has been trying to help me configure the ports to work with bit torrent. Problem is, it seems his router's software (the configuration webpage) is different and we can't find anything about pinholes on my new one. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

    What to do;
    1. Goto http://192.168.1.254/
    2. Click on "Expert Mode", then click "OK"
    3. Click on "Configure"
    4. Then "Advanced"
    5. Then "Pinholes"
    6. Then "Add"
    Should work for you then.

thats just it, there is no pinholes option. The options menu looks like:

    Home
    Configure
    ---Connection
    ---Wireless
    ---Advanced
    Access Control
    DHCP Server
    IP Passthrough
    NAT
    Packet Filter
    QoS
    Router Password
    Time Zone
    VLAN
    Statistics
    Diagnostics
    Remote Access
    Update Router
    Reset Router
    Restart Router
    Basic Mode
    Help

so, no pinholes option. any ideas?

Most likely the one. Also, revolver2k, if this doesn't solve the problem, post up what type of router you have.
