You nert- you have a dual account- you automatically get banned for your previous offence. They ban people, not accounts.

There was a time when I called for ecksors demotion, but over the last year I've seen how much work he put into boards and how much crap he put up with from people like me.

Captainsparrow, while I'm aware you're trying to be witty and funny, and this is you really trying, but consider this.

You saw ecksor as your nemesis. He saw you as a vague annoyance, the rest of us are just waiting for someone else to ban you. Ecksor was the first line of defense for us aganist muppets like you.

While it was great when ecksor was around and the average life expectancy of a muppet was 2 posts we dont *need* admins to ban ppl. The cat mods if they act together can ban a person from nearly the whole site

I think, sometimes, everyone needs a break from boards.

Everyone needs some space, everyone needs a chance to recover from the muppetry, to redraw the lines between Real Life and the Internet, to move things back into their proper places, to open a browser and spend 15 minutes online without going near a bulletin board.

Everyone needs a holiday, a recess, a time out. When nobody pays attention to you, you want to be famous. Then, the more important you get, you soon realise that you can do less and less, because your time is taken up with the people who make it their business to shout at the ones who make a difference. And you stop making a difference. At the very bottom of every organisation, there are the administrators. And at the very top, there are the people who fondly remember when administration was all they had to do.

I think it's weird when one of the 'pillars' of boards.ie drops away into the ether - be it an admin, or a long-established mod, or a troll, or someone who had everyone fooled. Coming back to boards.ie without them is sort of like going to see your favourite band in concert, and meeting their old drummer at the bar, looking nostalgic, and bored, and kind of relieved...

And so Boards.ie lose's it's own Dark Knight. Sure, batman, I mean Ecksor used excessive force occasionally but he made the streets of Goth.. forums of boards.ie a much less muppet infested place to be.

And can one of the admins pleasec Glenstal CaptainSparrow? I think all of us on boards are sick of these whiny sh|ts that can't just take a banning.
