    It's a fair few pixels short of Widescreen.

    Number of Pixels 852x480 (Horizontal & Vertical)

    Wide Screen is 1024 * 576

    Looks okay for the price - but think you should see it in the flesh before buying as they really do differ when seen with your own eyes (make sure you see TV on it and not just DVD)

    Also, if you don't mind me asking - where are you getting this from?

    The Web or through a shop?

    In that kinda price range,I think its quite rare to find a plasma (not LCD) that has more than 852x480.
