I was wondering if anyone knows of an online store that sells Fans of the above sizes???

Had a look at komplett and it appears that they have stopped seeling fans for some stupid reason.
How are people going to cool down heatsinks bought from them that dont come supplied with fans of their own(Thermalright XP-90/Silverstone NT01)??

Looked at Maplins online store but paying ~€10 in s&h for something weighting 20g's is pretty dam stupid IMHO.
Ive had parts weighing more than that posted from the Netherlands on a Friday and arrive on a Monday with less than €3 of stamps on the envelope!!!

I bought memory from an online store in kildare that delivered free and was wondering if another such opertaion exists that also deliver fans and other bits/bobs for free???

    Check out:

Really good, and competitive, Irish supplier. Never had a problem with these guys. They now also take Laser and C Cards, which had previously limited their customer base. Give'em a try :)

    Thanks for the info.

    http://www.pc-look.com/
They appear to have a very limited selection with the exception of cooling of course.
Their shipping is cheap when buying heavy goods but on the lighter goods(100g fan) they charge €7.50!!!

    http://www.pc-look.com/boutik/Cat_Air-Cooling-Case-Fans__21_40.html
Have absolutely everything under the sun but their prices are about 10% higher than komplett on anything that they share and the shipping costs are a bit high for anything over a couple of kg's.

There were a couple of german stores talked about here...will take a look for them as they have only 16.5% VAT and are normially cheaper when shipping is taken into consideration.

    ============================================================
    I need to get:
    Case/SATA HDD/DVD-+RW/FANS/Heatsink
at a reasonable price which means komplett&HiTide or all from a good store(possible from Germany).

    Komplett&HiTide
    =========================================================
    Cheap and cheerfull case

and I can pick up fans from HiTide as well with ~€13 for S&H.

    Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 200GB SATA
    http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.asp?sku=123996&cks=PRL
NEC DVD recorder ND-3520A IDE Black OEM
    http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.asp?sku=305762&cks=SPK
    Thermalright XP-90 CPU-Cooler Socket 478/754/939, (without fan)
    http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.asp?sku=303232&cks=PRL
Delivery from komplett would then be €10.

€300-€320 should cover everything above...so if anyone knows of a similar site, lets say in Germany which might have the above/similar stock please dont be shy to tell.

    try overclock.co.uk or overclockers.co.uk

UK V.A.T is 17.5% and they both have a great range of stuff.

    From overclockers.co.uk:

    Coolermaster Centurion 5 - Black/Silver (No PSU) (CA-075-CM)
    £33.10
    NEC ND3520 16x16 DVD±RW Dual Layer ReWriter (Black) - OEM (CD-014-NE)
    £30.50
    Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 Plus 200GB ST3200822AS SATA 8MB Cache - OEM (HD-016-SE)
    £62.50
    ThermalRight XP-90 (Socket 754/939/478) Heatsink (HS-018-TR)
    £22.50
    Vantec TD9238H Tornado 92mm fan - Retail (FG-001-VT)
    £11.00
    Vantec SF12025L Stealth 120mm fan - Retail (FG-005-VT)
    £7.95
    Vantec SF9225L Stealth 92mm fan - Retail (FG-004-VT)
    £5.95
    Subtotal £173.50
    Shipping (Parcelforce Euro 48) £22.00
    VAT £34.22
    Total £229.72

Converted to Euro it comes in at around €330...which isnt too bad for the nice case and extra fans.

What is the general view of others here???

    The prices at
    http://www.pc-look.com/boutik/default.php?language=en
are actually higher than those in komplett.ie AFAIK.

They are more specialised in certain areas but not enough to pay more for other bits/bobs.

I will probable use overclockers.co.uk...even though I will have to do conversions through sterling which could cause price fluctuations.
At the current exchange rate the prices are allright...but if sterling gains on the Euro then PC-look will become more attractive.

I have Vantec Stealths 80mm and 120mm from overclokcers.co.uk. Very Quiet Fans but why buy quiet fans and then get a tornando, they are very loud, it defeats the purpose a bit. If you really want a tornado, dont buy ultra quiet fans, go for something with a little more CFM.

Tornado for CPU cooling and the Quiet for i/p and o/p of the case.

Would a Vantec Quiet be OK for cooling the ThermalRight XP-90???

    vantec are certainly not quiet

quick fan advice, if you're after quiet fans get nexus, globe, panaflo or papst fans.
Nexus fans are pricey at 18 euro each but they are the quietest fans money can buy and they do make a difference.
oh and don't ever buy a thermaltake fan or heatsink

I got a 92mm papst of hi tide last week. Thats thing is virually silent at 12v. Highly recommended. Have to say i was disappointed it came with nothing at all, i.e. no screws or splitters even. Have a nice cool quiet setup now with, 120(out) and 92(in) at 12v, 80(in) 80(gpu, on a passive zalman 9800pro cooler) at 5v, 1800RPM heatsink, and a low rpm PSU(TT butterfly 480w)

The Papst fans are literally just fans, for OEMs or system constructors (not just PCs, but embedded systems, other sorts of electronics, power electronics, control circuits etc.) so they won't need to come with the extras for the majority of their market.
They are quality components though. Like putting Kumo tyres on your 96 Ford Fiesta.

Thermaltake products are pikey knock-offs. Utter kack.
