September 1st, 2005. 179 pounds (249 euros). These are the figures that thousands, perhaps millions, have waited for. Pro-G reports that Sony has made it official. The Sony PSP will be introduced in Europe with the same Value Pack format that the States enjoyed — er, minus the Spider-Man 2 movie. You can get it for free, but you’ll have to register the PSP to get the film; and it’s unclear how many copies they’ll be giving away.

About bloody time, 10 months after the Jap release its pretty poor esp considering the weak US sales. One good thing is there will be a load of launch titles. I see Battlfield 2 is going PSP, I may be convinced to buy one yet!
