Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does anyone here have an interest in classic Irish Buses. Driving, restoring, preserving, spotting or just discussing.

I have started a thread on this topic in the classic cars forum. Apologies to anyone who has already read the thread

I don't know that much about the buses myself but do have an interest and am posting this in case anyone here wants to get a discussion going.

Perfect timing Brian, the annual bus rally held near Belfast was on last Saturday.

There are some Pics on this website.

Thanks for that John R, I knew about that website but hadn't seen the pics of this year's rally.

Have always liked the K class buses which are pictured attending the rally. Very distinctive sound and looks. To me the styling still looks modern and crisp approx 25 years after they were first went into service!

I travelled up to the rally on preserved KC48 this year. It was my first time going and it won't be my last.

I would also recommend www.garaiste.com and www.allaboutbuses.com as two excellent related websites for both past and present events in the Irish bus industry.
