Different computers are good for different hings.

Its all down to what kind of diving you are/will bedoing. Air only, nitrox, accelerated decompression using rich nitrox mixes, trimix, nitrox rebreather, trimix rebreather.... you get the message!

What kind of diving will you be doing?

mainly air but can't discount nitrox (so would probably need that for completeness) just looking for some opinions really

I dived with the Aladin Pro Ultra for a season or 2. Good computer that does nitrox up to 40/50%. Also does deco stops for you if you end up going into deco.

    No gas switching.

Big screen and easily readable. Back light for night dives.

    Its boxy but its good.

The place up in Drogheda is quite good for the Uwatec/Scubapro computers, http://www.the-scuba-store.com/

or give the place in Kilkee a shout, they seem to be very good on price, http://www.diveireland.com/
