Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Thighpaulsandra are to play one-off show in Dublin, to promote their
    new album 'Double Vulgar 2' which was released on April 1st on Beta
    Lactam Ring Records.

    The legendary Thighpaulsandra and his band (featuring members of
    Coil, Spiritualized and Julian Cope band) will play a one-off show
    in CrawDaddy, Dublin on Saturday 7th May.

    Thighpaulsandra has been working with Julian Cope since 1987. He has
    been a member of Spiritualized since 1997. In 1998, he was invited
    to join Coil by John Balance and recorded the 'Astral Disaster'
    and 'Musik To Play In The Dark Vols. 1 & 2' albums. Although Coil is
    no more, following the tragic death of John Balance late last year,
    Thighpaulsandra continues to work with Peter Christopherson.

    Thighpaulsandra's influence can be clearly heard in Coil,
    Spiritualized and Julian Cope. Early line-ups in his band included
    John Balance (Coil) and Julian Cope among others.

    Thighpaulsandra is eccentric, colourful, sheer entertainment and has
    been described as a `decadent pop star, a subversive sex symbol for
    the 21st century'. Expect a performance that crosses the boundaries
    between art and music, which goes beyond any genre categorisation
    with strong influences from rock, jazz, experimental and
    contemporary classic music. This is going to be an evening of pure
    opulence with Thighpaulsandra holding court - an evening with strong
    ritualistic and erotic undertones. Fans of Coil and Spiritualized
    should not miss this show.
