Non-laser corrective eye surgery

    Does anyone know of corrective surgery for short-sightedness which doesn't require incision or lasers?

    I'm not asking for medical advice, merely if such procedures exist, and what they are called.

    to alter the shape of the cornea (clear bit in front of the eye) to correct for the difference unfortunately means using lasers or surgery. You artificially alter its shape with a contact lens.......
