YeaH it just happened to me, did it hapen to anyone else? It could be just me 'cause I moved my pc to other room and in process ripped the phone cable so the green wire inside the caple is split in two! still works though quiet confused,

Try replacing your phone cable?

It could be something to do with Irish ADSL being rate adaptive. If the line can't support 1Mbps, your speed will automatically be downgraded.
