    Netsoc will be hosting the following talk next week, I hope some of you will be interested in coming along - it should be an intersting talk.

    "Calum Benson Talks Gnome, Software Usability and the Open Source Desktop"
    Date: Thursday 5th May
    Time: 7:30PM
    Location: Swift Theatre, Arts Block, TCD

    Calum Benson, a top usability expert at Sun Microsystems will be
    giving a talk on the usability of open-source software in Trinity
    College this week.

    Calum has been a user interface designer for over 10 years, working on
    projects as diverse as stock-trading systems, virtual reality
    engineering tools, and even the air traffic control system at Heathrow
    Airport. He now works mostly on GNOME, for Sun's Desktop Group. He is
    also one of the authors of the famous Gnome Human Interface Guide[1].
