    Hi all,

    Calum Benson from Sun will be talking in Trinity next Thursday (5th May). He is one of the key usability experts that works on the GNOME desktop. I have been circulating the following blurb about it. It should be a really interesting talk, I hope you all come along.

    Date: Thursday 5th May
    Time: 7:30PM
    Location: Swift Theatre, Arts Block, TCD

    Calum Benson, a top usability expert at Sun Microsystems will be
    giving a talk on the usability of open-source software in Trinity
    College this week.

    Calum has been a user interface designer for over 10 years, working on
    projects as diverse as stock-trading systems, virtual reality
    engineering tools, and even the air traffic control system at Heathrow
    Airport. He now works mostly on GNOME, for Sun's Desktop Group. He is
    also one of the authors of the famous Gnome Human Interface Guide[1].
