Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just learned that current TNA star and former WWF tag champ (Skip) Chris Candido passed away on Thursday night. He was 33 years old.

Details are very sketchy at this point as there are conflicting reports regarding the cause of his death. Candido suffered a broken leg at the Lockdown PPV this past Sunday in Orlando and underwent surgery on Monday. He was able to work the Impact! tapings on Tuesday night before returning to his home. It is believed his recent surgery was the cause of death, although that has yet to be confirmed at this point.

Candido played a very strong role in the first taping for Impact! where America's Most Wanted defending the NWA World Tag Team Titles against The Naturals in the main event.

From what is known at this time, Candido collapsed in his home on Thursday night and was then rushed to a hospital by amublance. Candido eventually passed away a short time later.

Chris Candido's brother stated to a few wrestling websites that the cause of death appears to be a blood clot after complications from surgery.

I didn't know too much about him as I don't get to see TNA but it is a terrible thing to have someone die so young. It's truly shocking. RIP Chris.

What is it with wrestlers dying so young these days?? Sad story.

I could n't beleive how young he was for someone that had been around such a long time. Like 10 years ago he was in the then WWF and at 23 he looked so at ease and natural in the ring. Very technically good. Its just very sad.

Guess they felt since he was ECW and WcW they could do it. He worked for TNA.

I'm absolutely shocked to hear about another death on the pro Wrestling scene. I never saw much of Chris Candido but the general consensus has been that he has been one of the most hard working pro wrestlers over the past 10 years.
