So, my Kiss DP-1500 (the DVD player with Ethernet and Divx support) just died, and before I go out and buy another one, I'd like to see if anyone here can recommend a better player. What I really need is:

    Multi-region DVD
    Decent Divx support
Ethernet for streaming Divx from a PC

and for it not to be a modded games console.

Kiss DVD players are the only ones I've been able to find so far. The one I had until recently is:

    http://www.kiss-technology.com/?p=dp1500&v=users

Its a little fiddly, but by and large it worked pretty well.

And if there is nothing else, does anyone know where I can buy one of htese in Dublin? (bought my last one online, and had to wait ages for it)

    Cheers!

Cheers Hob-it, it looks like what I'm after, but its more expensive than the Kiss, so I may just go buy another of those.

BrianD, the Kiss model is about EUR170 on Pixmania.com.

    Unless there's another option?

I never knew about these either. Great idea. I guess there would need to frequent firmware updates to keep up with all the new codecs etc?
