java : doin fyp need help

    Registry key 'Software\JavaSoft\Java Runtime Environment\CurrentVersion'
    has value '1.4', but '1.3' is required.
    Error: could not find java.dll
    Error: could not find Java 2 Runtime Environment.
    does anyone know how to fix this its drivin me cracked

    Hi...

    I am presuming u want java 1.3 working..

    Delete the java.exe in the windows\system32\ folder

    Now set your System PATH to point to the bin directory of your 1.3 java folder.

    Goto command prompt and type the following

    java -version.


    U should see 1.3 as the java version
