Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Custom House Quay area

    I pass by this area every day. Usually in the morning afternoon around 10am or 2pm and at 10 or 11 at night.

    In the morning or afternoon there always seems to be a big gang of Heroin addicts standing around on "Butt Bridge", I've no idea what they are doing other than shouting at each other and drinking lucozade.

    Recently, at night time, I've also noticed big groups of 12/13/14 around that kids on either side of the liffey on city/house quay. Seems to be about 20 of them having some kind of gang war, shouting at each other and throwing stones/bottles. Often, a group of them would come legging out of Moss street lane or Prince's street chasing others or being chased. I haven't noticed this behavaiour until a few weeks ago.

    Anyone have any information to why this is happening?

    Also, a fewdays ago I saw something that appeared to a submarine in the water. Seemed to be pumping some water out. Quite strange.

    Not sure what the 'submarine' was (I saw it too), but it looked like the exhaust of a machine working underwater on the piers of the new footbridge.

    Passed by today and both parts of the bridge deck have been placed on their piers but are currently set parallel to the quays. Workmen underneath them presumably attaching gear & power.

    When's it due to open?
