    i thought so. Those joiner boxes aren't even the same. I still download at 120KB/s and upload at 16KB/s

    if the wires are making good contact there is no reason it shouldnt work regardless of the mess it looks like however over time as the ends of the wires degrade from being exposed the speed will drop
