Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hey, i need to set up a wireless network in my house and i'm running into a few problems. I have a NETGEAR DG834G asdl wireless firewall router and a few Apple computers-iMac G5, Powerbook G4 and an iMac G3.
My internet connection is Irish Broadband Breeze and it is supplied through an ethernet cable therefore i can't set-up the router as easily as i could with a DSL connection.
Is it possible for me to connect the internet into one of the ethernet ports on the router (which are meant for computers) and share it as if it were DSL into the ADSL port?
I want to be able to network the computers with the iMacs connected to the router by a cable and the Powerbook to be able to connect wirelessly.
If this isn't possible, is there some other hardware that i should use to accomplish the task?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Probably not possible with this hardware. You'll be wanting a plain ol' wireless router with no DSL.

    Actually it should work fine!!
I have done it before with wireless routers with ADSL modem built in. No problems.

Cheers for your replies-much appreciated. I'm not really up for a complicated set up, I think I'll just get a new router.
Anyone out there happen to want to swap a standard wireless router such as a NETGEAR WGR614 or a Linksys WRT54g for my ADSL Modem Router DG834G?
