    i'd say
    1) simon's georges arcade
    2) cafe mocha (bit pricey though!)
    3) westcoast coffee, off grafton street (nice coach downstairs)

what is everyone's else top 3?

would it be wrong to say the McDonalds' McCafe on Grafton Street? it is nice coffee, and a great location!

Queen of Tarts on Dame Street is lovely

I lunched there today. Good topping but frozen pizza base. Disappointing.

On the sit down coffee front, Insomnia in the IFSC if I can get a nice couch at the window and a free paper.

Metro Cafe on Clarendon St. as Bombidol said.
This place has been going for years, before the big coffee house explosion .. it's v. relaxing and their food is nice and reasonable.

The Joy of Coffee in Temple bar is nice for a coffee too.

Shame Bewleys and the Winding Stair are gone. :(
