Does anybody know what an "occlusion" of the tooth is? I heard my dentist telling his nurse that I either have or need one of these while he was examining me and I have no idea what this is... I have searched the internet on various sites and found no such thing... I know I should have asked him at the time what an occlusion is but I was too shy
I would imagine its some sort of filling or other, I have to go back to him in a couple of weeks so no doubt ill find out then but in the meantime can anybody help me out

    According to dictionary.com, occlusion is
The alignment of the teeth of the upper and lower jaws when brought together

so maybe you have some misalignment?
