    Quick question,

I've bought a Serial ATA hard drive but I only have an ATA interface on my mother board and I want to use this device to convert :

Can this only be used to convert a IDE hard drive to a SATA interface mainboard or can it also be done in reverse.

    Thanks
    Tim

I got one of them with my ABIT IC7-G..

....only does IDE to SATA I am afraid.

What HD is it, If you can't send it back, I'll swap you an used IDE for your SATA if it helps.....otherwise the PCI Expansion card mentioned above is yer best bet.
