Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What MPEG2 to DIVX conversion speeds do you get & with what hw/sw?

I record a lot of discovery channel using my Hauppauge PVR250. Its a tv card with hardware mpeg2 encoder. Later i use Dr Divx to compress the mpeg2 video (1hr = 2gb) to Divx (1hr = 500mb @ Bitrate 1100kbps). I get about 20fps with my pc (P4 2.66ghz,768mb ddr, winxp pro sp2). I get about 30-35fps from DVD MPEG-2 to XviD with AutoGK/VDubMod.
