eircom stats fault?

    This is my log for last days... Unbelievable, 500MB uploads, 100-200MB downloads per session... Must be something wrong, haven't uploaded like that, always have 1-5pc of the download level on uploads... Anyone experienced like that recent days? It's eating my cap... :(

    Sounds like you've been hax0red mate, run some virus checks soon as possible

    I have several (20+) adwares and spywares on the computer..
    But no viruses, worms or trojans. Can ad/spyware upload from
    my bb connection like that?

    What have you been downloading? What is your total uploads /downloads for this month, check your stats again.

    Have been downloading 1 GB this far, but the upload is 500MB+553MB+900MB+300MB.... More than 2gig... Am I hacked thru ad/spyware or is it fault in the counter?

    The upload stats you provided is only around the 55 meg mark??

    I noticed that zeroes in the uploads have disappeared in my post.. In my stats there's 2gig... Sorry for that, should have checked it. Anyway will call eircom about this!

    Yeah give them a ring, could be just a fault with there page. With all the security stuff you have on your PC I doubt there is anything sinister uploading at that rate, just to be sure check your shared folders through your p2p programs and see exactly what your sharing. Have you Bearshare installed?

    Also, do you have unsecured wireless network? There could be someone stealing your airwaves...
