(Taken from the El Paso Times/Dundalk Blog)

The quality of drinking water in County Louth is among the highest in the country. The latest figures from the EPA show that the majority of public water schemes in Louth are fully compliant with just four exceptions. The figures show that local authorities in the county had a 98.7% compliance rate for drinking water quality, which is above the national average.
