Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone ever look at the eurosport text commentaries?

20:44 The Milan coaching staff are wearing what look rather like the kind of outfits 1960s 'rockers' would wear. Maybe they're planning to go out later and beat up some mods. Only kidding.

Is there a comeback on the cards tonight?

I hate to ruin that goal cause it was quality, but Maldini would have gotten to that had he not been semi uncouncious :)

66 - 34 possesion to PSV in first half hour although milan are starting to find there feet, look like they could catch PSV on the break.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,580 ✭✭✭uberwolf

right - well to thread spoil n all ;) other posters have said Milan are unshakeable and will cruise to win the final. Looks like you can get amongst them. Should I head home to watch?

Apparently in the 17th century two very rich and wealthy families intermarried, but neither wanted to give up their family name. So, they decided to allow their decendants to use either name, or both. Since the dutch for "or" is "of", we got Venegoor of Hesselink.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,727 ✭✭✭✭Sherifu

two upsets in a row anyone?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 20,346 ✭✭✭✭KdjaCL

    Quite right.

I wonder if he was confused.

    Teacher : Name, boy
VofH : Jan, Venegoor or Hesselink
Teacher : Well, which is it?
    VofH : Both
    Teacher : Insolent boy *smack*

    :D

65' Lee razzes past Cafu to the left touchline.... fantastic ball back post for COCU!!!!! Heads past Dida and the tie is... tied!!

This is what Eurpean footie is all about.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 41,926 ✭✭✭✭_blank_

    Agree with eirebhoy there.

Fair play to them, and I hope they go through.

If it goes to penalties, I predict a Milan win.

Harsh on PSV - they were by far the better team. If Milan play like that in the final, Liverpool have a real chance.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 20,346 ✭✭✭✭KdjaCL

    Best team lose again ?

Excellent game very enjoyable, even when Milan scored in 90th minute PSV went at them again and scored in 91st minute.

Odd weird stat about the game Jaap Stam this season has played vs all his old teams, PSV UTd and Lazio and won (some twice)

Milan are ripe for the picking and the pool are gonna beat them, roll on the final!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,467 ✭✭✭smemon

typical milan really, if i were liverpool, id be very worried, certainly not encouraged.

milan play brutel for 180mins, completely outplayed and deserve to lose and they somehow pull off a victory. imagine what they'll do to liverpool when their up for it (they were complacent tonight).

psv wouldnt hurt liverpool, they dont have the experience and cant defend like liverpool or milan can. milan are a big name which will mentally pose more of a threat to liverpool. on their day liverpool could sneak a victory but as weve seen tonight, even if milan have a bad day against a quality side on a good day, they can still pull off results.
