Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    SATURDAY 7th MAY 2005

    POGO CLUB:
    CHYMERA - LIVE (ALBUM LAUNCH)
BAZ REDSETTA (POGO / SPIN FM)

Music Policy: everything from acid/house/electro/breaks/funky techno -think...
Tiga, DJ Hell, Metro Area, M.A.N.D.Y, DJ T, Chicks on Speed, Abe Duque, Adam Freeland, 20/20 Vision, Chicken Lips, David Caretta, Alter Ego, Rex The Dog and so on...

This Saturday at POGO will see one of the great white hopes of Irish electro/techno/house take the stage. Chymera, aka Brendan Gregory is hosting his album launch at POGO, with Baz Redsetta propping him up on either side.

The local magazines have been yaking about him for a while and the high authority that is DJ Magazine gave his last single their coveted ‘sureplayer’ mark.

In the past he’s played with Joey Beltram, Miss Kitten, Funk d’Void and John Selway, and now, the highest honour, sharing a stage with our Barry Redsetta. The stuff dreams are made of!

Give Chymera’s stuff (mixes & vids) the once over here

    POGO PUB
    NIC & ENO (POGO/Nylon/Monkey Tennis)
Music Policy : soul, funk, hip-hop, mash-ups, beats &breaks. Think... Daft Punk, Coldcut, Mr Scruff, Stanton Warriers, Parliament, Happy Mondays, Madonna, De La Soul, Kelis, Prince, James Brown , Dj Shadow and so on...

Meanwhile, POGO PUB will host its weekly drink-off with Nic & Eno egging you on with some proper party material. An all styles mash up basicaly but played in such a way that they can squeeze Kylie in between some ragga and breaks with out losing an ounce of credibility. Its party music goddammit and they hold the floor all night out in POGO Pub

    DJ T
One of the super stallions from the German electro/house stable at Get Physical records.
Check out more about him and the very good Get Physical here

    DK7 – Live
DK7 are Jesper Dahlbak from Sweden and ex-pat Mark O’Sullivan who together make some top drawer acid house, electro and straight up house. We had Mark over a few months ago for a semi live night (see pics here) and it was so good we asked him back and asked him to bring his production partner with him. So here they are, for the first time together in Ireland. Jesper will also be doing a DJ set. More bang for your buck!

    IAN POOLEY
Ever since mentioning this gig a while back we have had a constant stream of people asking us when the big man is coming. Well it’s happening, the date is almost confirmed and hopefully we will be able to tell you in the next mailout.

More pictures, videos and mixes from Ian Pooley here

And thats it for the mo. Thanks again for reading and enjoy your weekend.
