    I'm making a stand it might be the last one but it's a stand.

    I'd like to know why and who deleted my original sig and replaced it I feel violated somehow.

    Indeed Ruggie you may ask and I'll do it myself I don't need peeps doing it for me when I'm still on line and using this forum.

    Back to what I was saying before I got irate. I've checked back as far as mid-jan this was around about the time I changed and no-one seems to have mad a complaint

    I did because it broke the rules. Change your sig as much as you like as long as it is within the rules trish.

    yeah yeah I kjnow that but it still doesn't explain why I wasn't notified about havin my 4 userbars deleted without being told. as for the sig2big thing I was rebelling although it failed I was as you probably know going to change it thanks to Ruggie for nicly asking. I was in the process of posting to this forum I think you should have given me at least 5 mins to complete my post and change it.

    I still live in dial-up land I know I'm deprived as it is, but give us a second like lads to do something about it

    It used to be the case on this thread that the people reporting sigs would notify the user and the user would have 48 hours to conform to sig standards protocol. However this doesn't happen (much) anymore.

    As for the people that actually edit sigs [smods and admin] I can pretty much guarantee that they will never notify a user that their sig will be edited. I know I never will and never have notified a user of their impending sig-doom.

    To follow on from your 56k logic - surely you find it understandable that users on 56k dialup feel slightly used and abused by large sigs? Therefore why should people that totally abuse the sig limitations have any sort of favours in that regard? Also remember that all the time it takes for a sig-abuser to receive a message of sig-bigness - people are still downloading their sig whenever they view their posts.

    Incidentally, I forgot to mention. Those userbars (they are getting very popular) aren't a problem if they are all bunched into one image conforming to the image size restrictions as noted on page 1. In this case where people don't know how to image manipulate there are loads of helpful people that will accommodate you if you need this done. One can either post here for help or maybe the DIgital art/design forum.

    do you mean squish them into 300x125 max or are these userbars allowed to be wider than the 300pixels....most are already.
