    I can't really choose between:

    Anchorman
    Happy Gilmore
    Ace Ventura
    Austin Powers (2 & 3)
    Airplane
    Team America

    They're all great films. :)

You're missint out big time! Run to your local video shop and see if they have a copy. IBetter still, get yourself off to the nearest HMV/Golden Discs/whoever and buy a copy so you can watch it over and over. You won't be disappointed.

Anything with Ben stiller or Adam Sandler. They have to be two of the funniest around at the moment.

Having just watched Team America last night I have to say it's one of the funnier I've watched in a good while. If you like southpark then you'll enjoy it.
Apart from being funny it's actually good too.

As for non-animation, I suppose I'd have to say LockStock for my fave funniest film...

it stars the waynes brothers you know shorty and his gay brother from the Scary Movie trilogy it was on channel 4 at 1:30am some night last week please get your hands on a copy of this you won't be disappointed, unlikely to be found in a video store though best of luck.

I taped it so is there any way to transfer from vhs so I could upload for you?

A really crap Irish film in Irish too, it was really short and it was called 'The Dentist's Daughter', it was about this evil dentist who's daughter was going out with this lad, and this lad went to the dentist and he pulled out a few of his teeth. F*cking crazy!

Btw I was made watch it.

Laurel and Hardy, "Way out west"

I think there's different kinds of funny depending on what mood kind of mood you're in or what you're into.

It's been year since I've seen it but Stir Crazy. See no Evil, Hear no Evil.

And if you're so inclined, the Star Wars drinking game can get quite comedic.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,002 ✭✭✭acri

The Evil Dead films were excellent aswell. I loved Ash. Thought he was dead funny.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 654 ✭✭✭DS

    Big Lebowski
    Zoolander
    The 2 Pythons

I hate Adam Sandler with a passion also. Happy Gilmore is dangerously unfunny.

Laurel and Hardy, "Way out west"

    Absolute genius! Altogether now:

"In the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia,
On the trail of the lonesome pine..."

    SLIT h
    (some like it hot, )

It was made in 1940, or something and is still as funny as ever. Other movies lose their hilarity over time. In 2040, people will still talk about SLIT, and nobody will remember meet the fockers / *insert current teen movie here*

Id agree with most old Mel Brooks stuff. Does Eddie Murphy "Delerious" count? One of the funniest stand up performances Ive ever seen.
