How do you see this one going..?I think it will be a good game with some goals seems as Neither Arsenal nor Liverpool have kept a clean sheet in their last seven Premiership meetings.

Any news on the teams...?

Liverpool have to win this so I would imagine it is going to be an exciting enough game. Mind you, it could just be crap.

We could also see a few Liverpool players pulling out of tackle's trying to avoid injury...nobody wants to miss the big one.

I think CL hope is gone for Liverpool (through 4th place) i think they wil put out a full squad as the game is nearly 3 weeks away and they could use this as a practice match for the CL Final

The good news is Alonso is back, the bad news is Pellegrino is back!

Pool have a, shock-horror, fit squad of midfielders so we may even get some control today, I really hope he throws two on up front.

No, read the west brom thread lad, United and their fans (exceptiong Leonard) have settled for third place.

Can see this being a tight one, the pool should go all out but will prob be a dour game with an odd goal for either side winning it.

Touchy? Every team that makes the CL Final or any final has a measure of luck but Pool have been no luckier than others (I can think of penos not given and goals not given) and less lucky than AC Milan I'd say!

Anyway, today its all Arsenal. The Pool midfield seems to have decided to take the afternoon off.

I think this scoreline is flattering Liverpool atm, after Arsenals first half preformance.

Absolutly delighted the Cesc scored, it was his 18th birthday on wednesday and all.

Fair result for the game. Good come back by liverpool but the first half let them down

Hamman was lucky to stay on too.

Thrid goal was a real sucker punch. Played terrible first half couldnt cope with arsenals pace whatso ever. At least our away form is consistent!

Had to laugh at the chants from the away support at the end "champions league were having kebabs"

Both halves were very one sided but a fair enough result in the end. Once again, it is obvious that Liverpool need to be far more clinical in front of goal.

It's a cup competition. Show me one team who has a cup run that does not have its fair share of luck..

At that, it is blatantly obvious that the tactics Liverpool adopt suit the European stage while Arsenal's suit the PL where lesser team flatter them
