    Tuesday 24th May 2005 in Eamonn Dorans. Travega, Wigmond, Guests of the Nation, Downcast and Voodoo Jack compete in the final of the Xlantic Battle of the College Bands. Admission E 7.00, doors open at 7.30pm. This is the Eamonn Dorans 'Thrashed' night so all drinks are E 3.00. Over 18s, ID strictly required.

    It was a great night at the Xlantic Battle of the Bands Final held in Eamon Dorans last night and Travega stole the show. There were four bands in total and Travega picked up 56% of the vote.

    The prize?

    A number of gigs throughout Ireland and the UK;

    Studio time;

    And promotion for some of Travega's upcoming gigs, most notably their headline slot in Whelans on the 27th of June.
