These could be completely fake, but some semi-plausible specs for the new Xbox 360, as well as some details about Xbox Live, were posted and then quickly pulled from the TeamXbox forums. The part about it having a 20GB detachable hard drive seems a little sketch, since we’d heard something about it being a 40GB drive, but the rest of it seems to make sense. You have exactly 77 hours to argue over whether or not these are for real.

    [Thanks, Joe]

Those specs, if correct, point at a very powerful gaming machine. Not really certain what '3 symmetrical cores' means, though - can anyone enlighten me in non-techie language?

there seems to be some false info in there from reading the posts that follow.

either way, 2 more days to go before it's announced anyway.

3 cores is probably false, as intel and amd have just released dual core systems
unles they are talking 3 chip box at 3.2ghz each, but that wouldnt fit in that tiny package with the cooling requirements

Can we keep the 360 discussion to one thread please. Its already starting to get spread out. :)

im linking to a different article and this is purely about the specs shown therein, rather than throw them into a 3 page heavy thread i think it deserves its own

Doesnt mention, those specs are real by the way.

So how would the 360 match up to high-end PC's in november?
