It's delicious... it's just chocolate as a meal... with whipped cream. I love it.

Distinguishing features - red hair. and probably jeans.

In closing; Fobia: Dublin > Galway. Even if the gathering sucks there are numerous other good things you can do in Dublin.

Aye, I'll head down. If I can't find somewhere to kip if I'm down on my own or if I can't convince someone to come meet nerd friends with me and stay overnight in a hostel I'll just get a late bus back....see ye there :)

[Edit] Anyone fancy meeting me in *insert bus station* and showing me the way to this "Stephens Green" malarky? Otherwise I may be a few hours late :p [/edit]

If it's Busaras, I have a vague idea where it is and should be able to meet you there.

And if you're desperate you can probably stay in my house. I'm sure my family wouldn't* object to a random internet stranger at all. =D

*wouldn't may also be used interchangably with 'quite possibly would'

That's the one, bus house. Good good.

If anyone doesn't show up due to weather (or any other reason really :) ), I shall hunt ye down and beat ye with spoons. Metaphysical spoons, of course. I'm sure the dublinheads know somewhere that's not outdoors and will let people from Galway in.

But... it's educational. :) Obviously since the only thing we all have in common which each other is having done the Junior Cert, our conversations will be entirely based on education and uh... the pursuit and furthering of... education.

I should be able to attend, but I'm working Friday evening.

Fobia, you are welcome to come, but do talk it out with your parents. Invite one of them a friend if the "bigger" people will allow it. Its one thing to be lost (or have no money) in you own city, another completely in another.

Yeah but one time you wear wearing a ninja mask and the other time panda make-up. :p

If you guys want an educational excuse how about we go see a museum or something or is that too educational?

Actually, I don't believe I've seen either of those pictures and demand them instantly.

Yes you have, you posted them. One was CTYI and the other on a plane.

    Nope, Fobia wasn't at CTYI.

You're confusing me with PFM, which I think we'll both find a little offensive consdering we're of different genders :) .

Re: The old people's talk. Well I'll be meeting PFM at the bus house so getting lost shouldn't be a problem, and will probably meet my cousin after that. Though you may think that we're all little kids, 16 isn't *that* young...

Busaras is...If u walk down Talbot from O'Connell street and turn left at the end there you should see it somewhere( I Hope )

    That sounds wrong. :)

Well according to here, the bus comes in at 13.10, so I guess around then? 50 mins is enough time to talk to the place right?

/me knows nothing of Dublin geography.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 779 ✭✭✭Flashling

Eh, try 15 minutes? But sure, I'll be there, with some kind of recognisable item....(that means a big sign saying Fobia.)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,851 ✭✭✭PurpleFistMixer

Hm. 50 minutes MIGHT do it...

If we wanted to walk to BRAY.

    I'm kidding.

    That'd take like 4 hours.

But yeah, if it is where I think it is (don't worry I will find it) it'll only take like 20 minutes... maybe half an hour to get to Stephen's Green from there.

And yeah, I have that pop-up map of Dublin. It's great.

  • Registered Users Posts: 549 ✭✭✭Irishstabber

I think that this will turn into some sort of freakshow lol :D

Ah yes Abbey Street, I know it well. Almost got hit by a Luas there if my memory serves me.

I have an OS map of Dublin anyway, I will thoroughly know the area before Friday.

I probably wont see the sign, but how could having someone hold a sign of your internet name not be cool? :p

Hey...the horn/tail removal surgery didn't go as planned ok? No need to be so mean about it :(

[Edit] How about we put the time back to 1.30? That way I can either be on time or fashionably late. I don't *do* arriving early :) [/edit]

  • Registered Users Posts: 549 ✭✭✭Irishstabber

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,584 ✭✭✭Diarmsquid

I was unsure about being allowed about meeting strangers from the internet in Dublin, I reckon I won't be allowed travel to Galway to do so.

But you didn't even come to that :( .

What do you honestly expect, a bunch of paedophiles throwing you into a van and driving off with you? That's only happened once, and they offered me sweets.

    Worth it.

Galway is actually a really cool place. I'm going there after school. Is there a college there? I might study there, but I'm going to Galway anyway.
