eircom BB?!?

    Joined Eircom BB as renting house and did not want to get into a 12month contract because of my situation possibly changing soon.
    Anyhu,got the netopia wi-fi modem(Wee HUU!!!)on thursday last(5th)set up as per instructions,going grand for 2 hours 40mins and then it dies on me!!! :(
    called eicom as you do and they said that they will send out a new one in 10 working days(2 weeks!)I am just wondering if this loss time is going to be included in my 'first 2 months free' DEAL?
    any one with any info on this?

    am i the only one happy with eircom broadband, never any problems with sync or anything else.

    Live in dick **** kilcullen so no main urban area

    ???????????

    From what i can gather, iol, Irish broadband, NTL etc are a nightmare.

    Might not be the cheapest but hey it works!!!
