Could you possibly be my ideal woman?

No, you had to go and ruin a nice microwave lasagne with lettuce and cucumber, damn it.

I normally don't cook for other people as I'm a picky bastard about what I eat. I've only ever met one other person who doesn't eat vegetables. I do cook for myself quite a lot though, Chinese, various pasta dishes, and a few home-made recopies like chicken and beef bolognase with pasta and cheese. I was particularly proud of that one, more so when it turned out to be edible!

I burnt pasta once! ...I was boiling it!

Jaysus I was joking. But in fairness if I have kids, I do want them to eat healthy when they grow up! So I don't think I could make them healthy meals so it would have to be the father!

seriouslly though, I can cook anything. I love cook books but I dont need them.
If you name it I can make it, just comes easy for me somehow.
I cook hispanic dishes as well as American, Italian, and whatever else I am in the mood for :)
I love to cook, but only if I am cooking for other people. I wont cook a meal for myself...I enjoy cooking for large dinner parties, that is the best fun!
Or cooking for a date, ooo love that...so romantic ;)

I'm pretty bad at cooking, I burn stuff a lot...

However I'm good at baking, which is more important imo people need cookies.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,496 ✭✭✭*Angel*

Well actually I can cook lasagne and chilli fairly well. And pasta of course.

I love cooking (once it's not straight from work & I'm stressed) & will try various combos to make a dish taste just right. Best time for me is Saturday or Sunday evening, with wine glass in hand being steadily topped up by my husband who can't cook, but can hoover & wash up instead!!!

It's easy - get a recipe and follow it!

I absolutely HATE cooking! God help the guy I end up with! The quickest and easy way is how I feed myself. I hate the waiting around. I hate be starving and waiting for some chicken to boil or whatever it is in the pot.

How about this - Boil some rice in the pot, get a bamboo steamer with mixed veg on top of it, and stir fry chicken breast strips in a pan/wok (this could be made the day before, and left in the fridge to marinade). Three bowls, one for the rice, two for the chicken and veg, and away you go :)

Plus, you can use the rice to next day to make stiry fry rice!
